Tin concentrates are traded for conversion to tin metal in one of the tolling smelters usually located in South East Asia.
The material is tested on receipt at the smelter and usually the supplier accepts the smelter's results but always has
the option to have the material supervised by an independent surveyor and exchange assays with the smelter. This
supervision at his own expense.
